Author Guidelines
Bali Dental Journal is published by the Faculty of Dentistry, Udayana University. Publish 2 times in 1 year, and accommodate works related to dentistry (theory, review, case report, case control, and research).
Script Admission Flow
- After the script is adjusted to the provisions at: http://jkg-udayana.org
- Register at: https://balidentaljournal.org/index.php/bdj/user/register
- After obtaining the username and password, select: "Make a New Submission" and follow the 5 steps of submission to complete.
- When finished, immediately report it to your supervisor.

Author Guideline:
- The manuscript is an original manuscript that is related to the development of science and technology and has never been published both at home and abroad. The manuscript was written in Indonesian, typed in the Microsoft word 2016 program, using the .docx file extension with the format:
- Letter page size, bottom left right margin 1 ".
- Distance of 1 space.
- Title of the manuscript Using TNR font, size 16, capitalizing the letters of each first word, except place names, Latin scientific names.
- Text / text body using TNR font size 12.
- Writing " ABSTRACT " with capital letters and bold .
- Chapter / section titles use capital letters, with
- Each beginning of the paragraph is given the distance using indent as far as 0.5 ".
- The body of the script is dilayout into one column.
- Table titles are placed above the table, the contents of the table can use TNR 12 bold fonts .
- Images or graphs not to be manually drawn (given arrows, using tool maker charts in ms word, etc). If manually drawn please discimage so it does not change the format.
- The title of the script describes the essence of writing, written briefly and clearly, only the first letter that uses capital, if a place name or scientific name is used capital letters in the first letter.
- The author's name is accompanied by the profession and institution where the author works.
- Abstract manuscripts are typed in one space, not more than 300 words in Indonesian and English. Abstract illustrates the essence of problems, methods, results, and conclusions. Indonesian Abstract is placed early.
- Keywords contain 3-5 words.
- The introduction includes a description of the background of the problem, the scope of the study, and the literature review related to the issues studied, as well as the hypothesis formulation (if any). Maximum preliminary description of 20% of total pages.
- Materials and Methods include detailed descriptions of the materials used, the methods chosen, techniques, and scope of research. Material and method description is a maximum of 15% of the total page.
- Results and discussion are objective descriptions of the results of the research and discussion. Description of results and discussion of a minimum of 45% of the total page.
- The conclusions were formulated based on the results of the study.
- Bibliography is compiled using Vancouver citation style. Examples can be seen at http://www.biomedicaleditor.com/vancouver-style.html

Alur Penerimaan Naskah
- Setelah naskah disesuaikan dengan ketentuan di: http://jkg-udayana.org
- Daftarkan diri anda di: https://balidentaljournal.org/index.php/bdj/user/register
- Setelah mendapat username dan password, pilih: “Make a New Submission†dan ikuti 5 langkah submisi sampai selesai.
- Setelah selesai, segera laporkan ke dosen pembimbing anda.

Author Guideline:
- Naskah merupakan naskah asli yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan sains dan teknologi dan belum pernah diterbitkan baik di dalam maupun di luar negeri. Naskah ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia, diketik dengan program Microsoft word 2016, menggunakan extension file .docx dengan format:
- Ukuran halaman Letter, margin atas bawah kiri kanan 1â€.
- Jarak 1 spasi.
- Judul naskah Menggunakan font TNR, ukuran 16, dengan mengkapitalisasi huruf tiap awal kata pertama, ecuali nama tempat, nama ilmiah latin.
- Badan naskah/teks menggunakan font TNR ukuran 12.
- Tulisan “ABSTRAK†dengan huruf kapital dan bold.
- Judul bab/bagian menggunakan huruf kapital, dengan
- Setiap awal paragraf diberikan jarak menggunakan indent sejauh 0.5â€.
- Badan naskah dilayout menjadi satu kolom.
- Judul tabel ditempatkan diatas tabel, isi tabel dapat menggunakan font TNR 12 bold.
- Gambar atau grafik agar tidak berupa digambar manual (diberikan tanda panah, menggunakan tools pembuat chart di ms word, dsbnya). Jika digambar manual harap discreenshot agar tidak berubah format.
- Judul naskah menggambarkan isi pokok tulisan, ditulis secara ringkas dan jelas, hanya huruf pertama yang menggunakan capital, apabila ada nama tempat atau anam ilmiah digunakan huruf capital pada huruf pertama.
- Nama Penulis disertai profesi dan lembaga tempat penulis bekerja.
- Abstrak naskah diketik satu spasi, tidak lebih dari 300 kata dalam Bahasa Indonesia dan Inggris. Abstrak menggambarkan intisari dari permasalahan, metode, hasil, dan simpulan. Abstrak Bahasa Indonesia ditempatkan lebih awal.
- Keywords tmengandung 3-5 kata.
- Pendahuluan meliputi uraian tentang latar belakang masalah, ruang lingkup penelitian, dan telaah pustaka yang terkait dengan permasalahan yang dikaji, serta rumusan hipotesis (jika ada). Uraian pendahuluan maksimum 20% total halaman.
- Bahan dan Metode meliputi uraian yang rinci tentang bahan yang digunakan, metode yang dipilih, teknik, dan cakupan penelitian. Uraian bahan dan metode maksimum 15% total halaman.
- Hasil dan Pembahasan merupakan uraian obyektif tentang hasil-hasil penelitian dan pembahasannya. Uraian hasil dan pembahasan minimum 45% total halaman.
- Simpulan dirumuskan berdasarkan hasil-hasil penelitian.
- Daftar Pustaka disusun menggunakan gaya sitasi (rujukan) Vancouver. Contoh dapat dilihat di http://www.biomedicaleditor.com/vancouver-style.html. Disarankan menggunakan Reference Manager (Mendeley, Zotero, Endnote)
