The names and email addresses entered on this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of Bali Dental Journal (BDJ) and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party. Permitted Uses of Personal Data

Managing user accounts and access to the OJS submission platform.

Processing manuscript submissions and conducting the peer review workflow.

Communicating with authors, reviewers, and editors regarding editorial decisions and revisions.

Publishing accepted articles, including listing author names, affiliations, and ORCID iDs on the published article page.

Sending notifications about submission status, reviewer invitations, and journal announcements (opt-out available in user settings).

Indexing Services

Author names, affiliations, and article metadata are shared with indexing databases (e.g., SINTA, Google Scholar, Crossref, DOAJ) as part of normal publication.

OJS Platform (PKP)

BDJ operates on the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform maintained by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP), which may process data as part of platform operations.

Legal Obligations

Information may be disclosed if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of the journal, authors, or users.

Confidentiality of the Peer Review Process

BDJ employs a double-blind peer review process. The identities of reviewers are kept confidential from authors, and the identities of authors are kept confidential from reviewers throughout the review process. Reviewer identities will not be disclosed without the explicit consent of the reviewer concerned.

Your Rights and Choices

Users have the right to access, update, or request deletion of their personal information held by BDJ. You may update your profile information at any time by logging into your OJS account. To request account deletion or data removal, please contact the Editorial Office.

Users may opt out of journal announcement emails at any time through their OJS account notification settings. However, essential system emails related to active submissions (e.g., decision notifications) cannot be opted out of during the submission process.
