Faktor Determinan yang Berpengaruh Terhadap Kepuasan Pasien Dental Tourism di Provinsi Bali

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pada zaman sekarang, negara berkembang menjadi pilihan tujuan pasien wisatawan asing dalam menerima perawatan gigi, tak terkecuali Indonesia, terutama di Provinsi Bali. Oleh karena itu, tingkat kepuasan menjadi sesuatu hal yang penting untuk dipertahankan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor determinan yang berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pasien dental tourism di Provinsi Bali, Indonesia.

Metode: Penelitian ini menerapkan desain cross-sectional dan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan di enam klinik gigi swasta di Kota Denpasar dan Kabupaten Badung. Sebanyak 110 responden terlibat dalam penelitian ini. Statistik deskriptif, korelasi dan multiple linear regression analysis digunakan dilakukan untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian penelitian.

Hasil: Responden yang mengisi kuesioner dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 55,5% laki-laki dan 44,5% perempuan dengan rentang usia terbanyak 31-40 tahun. Mayoritas responden berasal dari Australia dan sumber informasi terbanyak didapatkan berasal dari rekomendasi teman atau kerabat yang tinggal di Bali. Perawatan yang paling diincar oleh dental tourist di Bali merupakan implan gigi. Keterjangkauan harga, daya tarik destinasi tujuan, dan aksesibilitas merupakan faktor yang berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kepuasan dental tourist di Bali.

Kesimpulan: Pada penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa pasien internasional sangat puas dengan pengalaman dental tourism di Bali. Selain itu, hasil penelitian menunjukkan dari tujuh determinan yang diteliti, keterjangkauan harga, aksesibilitas dan daya tarik destinasi merupakan determinan yang mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan dental tourist di Bali.

Background: In the present era, developing countries have become a preferred destination for foreign patients seeking dental care, and Indonesia, particularly in the province of Bali, is no exception. Therefore, maintaining satisfaction levels is crucial in Bali. This research aims to analyze determinant factors influencing the satisfaction of dental tourism patients in the province of Bali, Indonesia.

Method: This study applies a cross-sectional design and quantitative research methods. Data were collected using questionnaires distributed in six private dental clinics in the cities of Denpasar and the district of Badung. A total of 110 respondents participated in this study. Descriptive statistics, correlations, and multiple linear regression analysis were employed to achieve the research objectives.

Results: Respondents who filled out the questionnaire in this study comprised 55.5% male and 44.5% female, with the majority falling within the age range of 31-40 years. Most respondents were from Australia, and the most common source of information was recommendations from friends or relatives residing in Bali. Dental implants were the most sought-after treatment by dental tourists in Bali. Affordability, destination appeal, and accessibility significantly influenced the satisfaction of dental tourists in Bali.

Conclusion: This study found that international patients are highly satisfied with the dental tourism experience in Bali. Additionally, the research results indicate that out of the seven determinants studied, affordability, accessibility, and destination appeal are determinants that have a positive and significant impact on the satisfaction of dental tourists in Bali.
